Database with information about military aircraft lost above Belgium during the Second World War

The Museum compiled a database with information about thousands of aircraft shot down over Belgium in the Second World War (September 3, 1939 – May 8, 1945).

For each aircraft, following information is available:

date and place of incident, nationality and type of aircraft, information on the flight and the crew, circumstances in which the aircraft was lost. The database is regularly updated.

Maps indicate the geographic situation of the incident. The updating of the database is a continuous process, as new information regularly surfaces.
